Collaboration Time is coming to the Peninsula School
District............
Nearly every Wednesday during the 2008-2009 school year, the school
day will start one hour late. For elementary schools this means the
start time on Wednesdays will be 10:00am. Collaboration time will focus
on our school improvement work, specifically in the areas of math
and school climate. Watch the Stargazer for reports on our use of
this time through the year.
YMCA Information for Late Starts on Wednesdays.
Costs for Wednesday YMCA before school program will be $50 per
month. Parents will need to pre register since there is a limited
capacity. When registering please indicate "Wednesday only"!

available!
Are you Going To Volunteer In Your Child's
Classroom Or Chaperone A Field Trip in the 2008-2009 School Year?
If you are new to the school or you don't remember
the last time you filled out a form, please stop by the office and
ask for the expiration date of your volunteer clearance. If need be,
you can fill out a new form then. The clearance is good for two
years only.
Kindergarten Registration............
All Day Kindergarten is standard at
Peninsula Elementary Schools for every kindergartener at no charge.
Eligible Kindergarteners are children living in the district who are
5 years old by August 31, 2008. To register your child, please bring
your child's certified birth certificate, immunization records and
proof of residency (electric bill).
